Cost Control

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost plans.
• Monitor actual, committed, and forecast costs against approved budgets.
• Analyze cost variances and identify potential cost overruns.
• Prepare regular project cost reports and cost forecasts.
• Monitor material, procurement, subcontractor, and project-related costs.
• Review PR, PO, supplier quotations, and project expenditures against budget.
• Monitor project progress and its impact on project costs.
• Assist in reviewing progress payments, variation orders, and additional works.
• Coordinate with QS, Purchasing & Warehouse, Finance, and Project teams.
• Identify opportunities for cost saving and improve overall project cost efficiency.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Years of experience in Cost Control, Project Cost Control, Quantity Surveying, Project Accounting, or a similar position.
• Experience in construction, property development, real estate projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost monitoring, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, RAB, PR, PO, progress payments, and subcontractor costs.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• English proficiency is preferred.
