Cost Control Engineer

We are looking for an experienc ed Cost Control Enginee r, based Bucharest, to join our team for a major hospital construction project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the country's significant healthcare developments, working alongside an international project team in a dynamic construction environment.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similarrole.
• Proven experienc e on large-scale pro jects, such as hospitals, shopping malls, hotels, airports, or other public buildings projects.
• Strong background and knowledge of budget, cost control, and reporting processes.
• Excellent knowledg e of Romanian and English (written and spoken).
• Proficient use of MS Office applications.
• Having knowledge of quantity take-offs, progress payments, and cost data.
• Possessing analytical thinking and data analysis skills.
• Being a team-oriented person.
• Being able to adapt to an intensive work environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with site teams and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the monitoring of project budget and cost data.
• Comparing actual costs with budget values and analyzing the results.
• Checking quantity take-offs, progress payments, procurement, and subcontractor cost data.
• Contributing to the preparation of monthly cost and performance reports.
• Analyzing cost deviations and reporting findings to the Budget and Cost Control Manager.
• Supporting the evaluation of the cost impacts of project changes and additional works.
• Working in coordination with the Technical Office, Planning, Procurement, and site teams.
• Keeping cost control records up to date and preparing the required documentation.
• Carrying out duties and responsibilities assigned by managers.
• Working in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
