Cost Control Supervisor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a proactive business partner with Global Business Services (GBS), Regional Cost Control (RCC), local operations/logistics, local management, Barges team and the Accounts Payable (AP) team.

• Cost efficiency Operational Expenses per TEU Analysis & review .
  Analyze Indonesia Operational Expenses for Trade (Carriers) and Vessel division (Barges), monitor trends versus budget/forecast, and provide clear explanations to Finance and Management

• Proactively identify and report on cost-saving initiatives per period to support the organization's cost optimization

• Local revenue performance – Application ratio, cost recovery & competitive tariff adjustments

• Continuous process improvement:

  • Identify recurring data and process issues behind suppliers’ invoice disputes and manual corrections
  • Propose improvements to strengthen cost control and data quality over time.
  • Monitor and follow up on Requests for Information (RFI) to ensure zero pending items

• Tracking & monitoring the progress of Agreements/Rebates with the terminals & depots

• Produce accurate and reliable financial reports and analyses in a timely manner upon request.
