What are you supposed to do for us?

We are looking for a proactive Cost Controller to join our team. This is not a back-office accounting role. You will be embedded with the operations team, acting as a crucial bridge between finance and frontline execution.

In this role, you will provide real-time data, insights, and guardrails to our Lounge Managers and Area Manager. You will help us navigate the volatility of passenger visitation, when volumes are low, you’ll help us protect margins by managing fixed labor costs; when volumes are high, you’ll ensure we have the resources to deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Track per-passenger cost model against actual visitation volumes and calculating the P&L impacts.
• To ensure SAP data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain internal KPIs reports for operational stakeholders and analyze variances between actual results vs. budget/forecast.

Operational Cost Control:

• Monitor real-time consumption against visitation.
• Provide “traffic light” spending alerts, and conduct inventory/wastage analysis to identify leakage and improvement opportunities.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Lead the monthly forecasting process, incorporating visitation projections and operational plans.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process, focusing on labor productivity and cost of goods.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the key financial advisor to the OPS team, translating complex financial data into actionable operational insights.
• To model financial impacts of changes or staffing adjustments.  Ensure transparency across finance and operations teams.

What prerequisites must be met for us to like you?

• Degree holder in Financial management or related disciplines;
• 2–5 years in FP&A, cost control, or management accounting
• Experienced in F&B, hospitality, catering, or aviation is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially strong in Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas);
• Knowledge of ERPs and SAP system.  Experience in Power BI/Tableau a plus;
• Demonstrated understanding of fixed vs. variable costs, labor productivity, and COGS;
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; able to simplify complex data for non-finance stakeholders;
• Proactive, resilient, ethical, and comfortable in fast-paced airport operations with flexible hours (primarily business hours, but must be available to support operations during peak periods).
