Cost Controller

We are looking for an experienced F&B Cost Controller to manage food and beverage costing, inventory, consumption, wastage, and profitability across our caf and kitchen operations.

The candidate will be required to visit cafs, outlets, and kitchen locations as per business requirements to conduct physical stock checks, inventory audits, cost analysis, and operational reviews.

Key Responsibilities.

F&B Costing & Product Cost Analysis

• Prepare and maintain recipe, food, beverage, and product costing.
• Develop and update standard cost sheets.
• Monitor portion control and recipe adherence.
• Analyze product and menu profitability.
• Provide pricing and margin recommendations.
• Track food wastage and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Conduct regular visits to cafs, outlets, and kitchens for physical inventory verification.
• Monitor stock movement, consumption, transfers, and closing inventory.
• Conduct stock audits and investigate inventory variances.
• Ensure proper stock control and minimize pilferage, wastage, and unnecessary losses.

Cost Control & Profitability

• Monitor food and beverage costs against established targets.
• Analyze consumption patterns and identify cost variances.
• Implement cost-control and cost-reduction measures.
• Work closely with operations and kitchen teams to improve margins and overall profitability.

Purchase & Financial Reconciliation

• Verify and reconcile purchases, stock receipts, consumption, transfers, and inventory records.
• Coordinate with procurement, kitchen, caf operations, and finance teams.
• Analyze differences between theoretical and actual food costs.
• Prepare periodic cost-control and profitability reports for management.

Operational Coordination

• Conduct regular operational reviews at caf and kitchen locations.
• Ensure adherence to standard recipes, portion sizes, and cost-control SOPs.
• Identify gaps in inventory handling and operational processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with Caf Managers, Chefs, Kitchen Teams, Procurement, and Finance.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in F&B Cost Control, Food Costing, Inventory Control, or Cost Accounting.
• Hands-on experience in restaurants, cafs, hotels, QSR, cloud kitchens, or food service operations.
• Comfortable visits to multiple caf and kitchen locations as per operational requirements.
• Strong knowledge of recipe costing, food cost analysis, inventory management, and stock reconciliation.
• Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple operational teams.
