Cost Controller

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor order/style-wise cost sheets.
• Compare Approved Cost vs ERP Cost vs Actual Cost.
• Track order profitability from order confirmation to shipment.
• Monitor fabric requirements, procurement, receipt, issue and actual consumption.
• Analyze fabric consumption variance, cutting loss, shrinkage, wastage and rejection.
• Prepare Fabric PPV / Purchase Price Variance reports.
• Monitor trim/accessory cost variations.
• Conduct order-wise material reconciliation and monitor excess/leftover/aged stock.
• Analyze factory-wise CPM, SAM, efficiency, labour cost, overtime, rework and production cost.
• Monitor rework, rejection and quality-related costs.
• Prepare monthly cost and variance reports.
• Maintain CM Loss Register and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Stores, Production and Factory teams for cost control.

Preferred candidate profile

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Cost Control / Costing / Order Profitability.
• Mandatory: Apparel Export Industry experience.
• Strong understanding of fabric consumption, manufacturing costs, CM, ERP costing and order profitability.
• Good analytical and Excel skills.
• Candidates from Retail, Domestic Manufacturing or Non-Apparel Industries will not be considered.
