Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in hotel/hospitality cost control, with practical experience in food & beverage and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports.
• Monitor food and beverage consumption, wastage, and variances.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Analyze purchasing, receiving, issuing, and stock movements.
• Monitor actual costs against budgets and identify significant variances.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores, Kitchen, Finance, and F&B departments.
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate recording of all inventory transactions.
• Assist with month-end stock closing and cost reports.
• Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary costs while maintaining operational standards.

Requirements

• Hotel experience is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Cost Controller in a hotel or hospitality environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage cost control and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with IDS software is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of stock management, purchasing, receiving, and inventory procedures.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant accounting/ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
