Cost Controller

A Cost Controller is a financial specialist who manages budgets, tracks project or operational expenses, and prevents cost overruns to maximize company profitability

Core Responsibilities

• Budget Management: Work with project managers and department heads to build, establish, and maintain realistic financial baselines and budgets. [1, 2]
• Expense Tracking: Monitor daily/monthly actual costs against budgeted amounts, including labor, materials, purchase orders, and invoices. [1, 2, 3]
• Variance Analysis: Calculate cost variances, investigate unprofitable spending or losses, and recommend corrective actions. [1]
• Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, cash-flow projections, and key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for senior stakeholders. [1, 2, 3]
• Procurement & Negotiation: Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to review contracts and optimize material or service costs. [1, 2]
• System & Audit Support: Maintain enterprise resource planning (ERP) or point-of-sale (POS) systems, reconcile accounts, and support internal or external audits. [1, 2]

Pay: From Php16,770.00 per month
