Cost Controller

Dart Recruitment , on behalf of our client, a leading luxury hospitality group in Cyprus, is looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join its team in Paphos.

Your Role

As a Cost Controller, you will monitor and manage operational costs across the Group, ensuring accurate reporting, effective inventory management, and compliance with established financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse food, beverage, and operational costs across multiple hotel properties.
• Oversee inventory control, stock movements, purchasing procedures, and supplier pricing.
• Compare actual costs against budgets, identifying and investigating variances.
• Coordinate regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor F&B costing, wastage, and consumption to improve profitability.
• Prepare monthly cost-control reports and financial analyses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend practical improvements.
• Ensure consistent cost-control procedures across all properties.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Purchasing, Executive Chefs, and operational teams.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel cost control or a similar hospitality finance role.
• Strong understanding of F&B costing, inventory management, and purchasing procedures.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial management systems.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or multi-property hospitality groups will be considered an advantage.
