Cost Controller

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join an infrastructure project in Sardinia, Italy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a cost control professional with experience in construction or infrastructure projects to contribute to financial performance, cost monitoring, and effective project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and actual expenditure.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
• Track project progress and assess its financial impact.
• Coordinate with project management, planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Identify cost deviations, financial risks, and opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Support cash flow forecasting, budget revisions, and financial reporting.
• Assist with subcontractor cost control, change orders, and variation tracking.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cost control within infrastructure, civil engineering, or large-scale construction projects (1-3 years).
• Knowledge of project budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with cost analysis, variance reporting, and change management.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and project cost management tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Italian; English language skills are an advantage.
