Role Description The Cost Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in the Philippines. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across hotel operations, including analyzing budget variances, tracking expenses, and supporting cost optimization initiatives aligned with EcoHotels Inc.’s sustainability goals. Day-to-day tasks include preparing cost reports, assisting with cost accounting entries, reviewing procurement and inventory costs, and collaborating with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient use of resources. The Cost Controller will also participate in forecasting, financial planning, and developing cost-related policies that support environmentally responsible and community-focused practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Cost Control and Cost Management skills to monitor, analyze, and optimize operational expenses.
• Candidates should possess Cost Accounting and Finance skills to support accurate financial reporting and budgeting.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Candidates should preferably have experience in hospitality, sustainability-focused businesses, or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial software, and basic reporting tools is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential.
