COST CONTROL/QUANTIRY SURVEYOR

Cost Controller / Quantity Surveyor

Job Descriptions:

1. Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets and contracts.

2. Prepare and update project budgets, cost estimates, and cost forecasts.

3. Track project progress and perform cost versus progress analysis.

4. Prepare regular cost reports, dashboards, and performance analysis.

5. Monitor inventory costs in coordination with procurement

6. Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to validate quantities, progress, and cost accuracy.

7. Review cost impacts related to variations, additional works, and claims.

8. Prepare cost reports, summaries, and recommendations for PMO and management.

9. Maintain proper documentation for cost control and financial tracking.

10. Support project planning and scheduling activities using MS Project , Ms Excel or Primavera P6.

11. Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related input for decision making.

12. Experience with ERP or maintenance systems is an advantage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial   Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Accounting

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cost control or project cost management, preferably in electrical / electronics engineering infrastructure projects.

  - Skilled in Advanced Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and reporting.

• Proficient in project control software such as MS Project or Primavera P6 is a PLUS

• Able to develop and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cost forecasts.

• Strong understanding of construction financial processes

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication with other departments procurement, project site, and engineering

• Proficiency with accounting software is a Plus

• Willing to travel if required
