Cost Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for projects
• Monitor project costs and track expenditures against approved budgets
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams
• Review and validate contractor billing and progress claims
• Maintain accurate cost reports and documentation
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience as a Cost Engineer or similar role (construction or project-based industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and cost management software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to relocate or be assigned to UBAY, BOHOL.
