Cost Engineer

·       Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities (BOQ/BOM)

·       Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine cost requirements

·       Monitor project expenditures and track budget performance

·       Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs

·       Prepare progress billings, cost reports, and financial forecasts

·       Evaluate contractor bids, quotations, and change orders

·       Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams

·       Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

·        Identify cost risks and recommend mitigation strategies

·        Review, check, and verify purchase requests from site engineers against approved BOQ/BOM and project budget.

·        Ensure quantities, specifications, and cost allocations in purchase requests are accurate and within project scope
