Cost Estimator (Printing)

About the role

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Sales, Production, and Client teams to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and meet profitability targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze client specifications and project requirements to prepare accurate print cost estimates
• Gather and analyze data related to materials, printing processes, finishing requirements, and equipment usage
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns covering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs
• Monitor ongoing projects and update estimates based on changes in specifications, materials, or unforeseen costs
• Prepare and present cost proposals and estimates to clients and management
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and procedures\

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any MATHEMATICS OR ENGINEERING PROGRAM.
• Proven experience as a Cost Estimator or in a similar role, preferably within the printing industry
• Strong knowledge of printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
