Cost Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale data center construction project in Kentucky.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, budgets, forecasting, change control and commercial reporting throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track project budgets, forecasts and cost plans.
• Monitor actual costs against approved budgets.
• Produce regular cost reports and financial forecasts.
• Manage change orders, variations and cost impacts.
• Review contractor and subcontractor pricing.
• Support procurement, tender analysis and contract administration.
• Track commitments, invoices and project cash flow.
• Identify potential cost risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, contractors and client teams.
• Support project close-out and final account reconciliation.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Project Controls.
• Strong construction cost-management background.
• Data center / mission-critical experience highly preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale construction budgets.
• Strong knowledge of cost forecasting, change management and commercial reporting.
• Experience working with general contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong Excel and cost-reporting skills.
• Experience with large electrical and mechanical packages is highly desirable.
