Costing, Assistant Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain product costing, standard costing, BOM costing, and cost allocation within the ERP system.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, cost variances, and product profitability to support business decisions.
• Prepare costing reports, management reports, and financial analysis for management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, new product costing, quotation costing, and pricing analysis.
• Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance to ensure accurate costing data.
• Monitor inventory costing, stock valuation, and cost movements, recommending cost-saving opportunities.
• Support ERP (Acumatica) costing enhancements, process improvements, and other ad hoc finance assignments.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in costing or manufacturing finance
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, standard costing, BOM, cost variance analysis, and inventory costing
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Acumatica ERP is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across departments
