- Analyze material, labour, overhead, and production costs
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Conduct cost-benefit and profitability analysis
- Support pricing strategy and quotation preparation
- Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities
- Work closely with procurement to obtain supplier quotations
- Monitor actual costs vs. estimated costs and analyze variances
- Maintain costing database and historical cost records
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
