Costing Engineer (Lighting / M&E)

Salary: Up to $4,500 + Performance Bonus

Location: Ubi

Working Days: Mon – Fri | 8:30am – 6:00pm

14 Days Annual Leave

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and BOQ.
• Prepare costing, quantity take-offs and quotations.
• Compare products, suppliers, pricing and lead times.
• Recommend suitable or alternative lighting products based on project requirements and cost.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, product information and availability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Lighting Design, Purchasing and Project teams.
• Support tender submissions, project documentation and other related duties.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in costing, estimating, tendering, QS or construction.
• Experience in lighting, electrical, M&E or building projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with tender documents, drawings, BOQ and costing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD / DIALux is an advantage.

Product and on-the-job training will be provided.
