Costing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly cost and variance analysis, including PPV, manufacturing variances, and COGS analysis.
• Conduct root cause analysis and identify cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain standard costing and product cost models.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including inventory reserve analysis and account reconciliations.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and management analysis to support business decisions.
• Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, FP&A, and Finance teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives and maintain finance procedures and controls.
• Provide coaching and support to team members on cost accounting and analytical activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, product costing, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate with global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, accountable, collaborative, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Google Sheets, or BI/automation tools is a plus.
