Costing Merchandiser

We cordially invite potential candidates of apparel industry for the following post:

Responsibilities :

• Formulate costing sheets for samples & production orders quotations to base on BOM and coordinate with internal departments.
• Validate costing data, materials consumption, production processes etc., and input data into system.
• Validate vendor cost breakdown consistency and transparency especially fabric cost, fabric usage and other costs.
• Co-operate with internal teams like sample room, procurement, merchandising, technical etc. to provide costing analysis for supporting customer quotation and vendor cost negotiation.
• Manage costing process and deliver costing status report and analysis for management review.
• Advise cost saving areas like fabric, YY, CM, material, processes & other costs to teams and vendors to achieve company target cost performance.
• Participate in ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Diploma in industrial engineering, textile & clothing, apparel fashion or equivalent study.
• 3 years+ relevant work experience in apparel manufacturers or sourcing/buying firms.
• Nice to have outer wears knowledge for international brands.
• Knowledge in PLM, ERP or other garment system is a plus.
• Proficient excel skills in formulas, pivot table, vlookup and conditions.
• Well versed in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Good communication skills, systematic and well-organized.
• Strong numeric sense and good at details.
• Occasional business travelling is required.
