Costing Supervisor, APAC

该职位来源于猎聘 Position Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Costing Supervisor to support APAC manufacturing cost controlling and inventory management activities. This role is responsible for cost analysis, monthly closing review, inventory provision calculations, management reporting, and business partnering with key stakeholders across the region. The position will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reasonableness of costing-related data and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Cost Analysis & Cost Control

• Review and analyze costing data prepared by GSS and evaluate the reasonableness of cost fluctuations.
• Analyze material costs, manufacturing costs, freight expenses, warehouse costs, and inventory-related balances.
• Investigate unusual cost variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure costing data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems. Month-End Closing & Reporting
• Support month-end closing and monthly financial review activities.
• Review costing and inventory-related figures and prepare management reports.
• Present key costing analysis during:
• Monthly Plant Meetings o Corporate Review Meetings
• Provide insights on manufacturing expenses, inventory movements, freight costs, warehouse expenses, and other operational costs. Financial Analysis & Business Partnering
• Analyze data from multiple sources including:
• SAP o OneStream o Tableau o Corporate reporting systems
• Assess data reasonableness and identify business risks and opportunities.
• Partner closely with:
• APAC Controlling Team o Supply Chain Team o Plant Operations o GSS Finance Team o Regional Finance Leadership Inventory Management
• Perform quarterly inventory provision calculations and supporting analysis.
• Monitor inventory reserves and identify risks related to slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Support inventory accuracy and working capital initiatives. Ad Hoc Projects & Problem Solving
• Respond to ad hoc costing and inventory-related issues.
• Support finance integration activities arising from M&A or business expansion projects.
• Proactively identify issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement practical solutions with cross-functional teams. ________________________________________ Qualifications Education
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience
• 5-8 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Costing, Plant Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or Financial Controlling.
• Strong understanding of:
• Product Costing o Material Cost Analysis o Manufacturing Cost Control o Inventory Accounting o Inventory Provisioning o Month-End Closing
• Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment preferred. Technical Skills
• Strong SAP knowledge, particularly:
• SAP CO (Controlling) o SAP MM (Material Management)
• Experience with OneStream and Tableau preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling/analysis skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and inventory costing concepts. Soft Skills
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and assess the reasonableness of financial data.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
