The Costume Designer / Tailor position at Columbia Pictures Aquaverse  Water Park involves the following responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:

Designing Costumes for Various Characters:

• Design costumes or outfits for shows and various activities within the water park.
• Create costumes for performances or special events, such as live shows or themed role-playing activities related to the water park.

Pattern Making and Development:

• Develop patterns suitable for sewing costumes according to the design.
• Improve and refine patterns based on the specific needs of the water park and its activities.

Sewing and Costume Production:

• Sew various costumes based on the designs.
• Ensure the completion of costume production within the required timeframe.

Selecting and Sourcing Fabrics:

• Choose fabrics suitable for use in themed performances and shows.
• Inspect the quality of fabrics and materials used in production.

Costume Adjustments and Repairs:

• Repair worn-out or long-used costumes.
• Adjust costumes to fit the required style and usage.

Collaborating with Other Teams:

• Coordinate with managers and show coordinators to understand the costume requirements and ensure alignment with park activities.
• Communicate with the team to achieve the desired results.

Required Qualifications:

• Skills and experience in costume design and tailoring.
• Creativity in designing and developing costumes suitable for a water park setting.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to work requirements.
• Understanding of materials used in water-related environments and their durability under high humidity conditions.
• Capability to work under time constraints and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
