Counter & Service Representative

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Service & Counter Representative at our Commerce St Depot.

This hands-on role involves servicing, cleaning and refreshing our extensive range of hire equipment, such as plate compactors, trailers and excavators, while also providing great customer service processing hire contracts at the front counter.

We’re a community-focused locally owned business, so you won’t be a number here, you will be part of a team who value you and your contribution.

The Hours: 7:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with the ability to work weekends and public holidays as per the weekend roster. Currently, this includes working every third weekend.

The right person for this role will be:

• Reliable, friendly and physically fit, as regular lifting is required
• Comfortable working both outdoors with equipment and indoors using our hire software program
• Practical and willing to get hands-on, including working outside in all weather conditions
• Eager to learn with a keen eye for detail and great communication skills
• Able to use initiative to keep our fleet and yards tidy, organised and well maintained
• Happy to help with in-house improvement projects such as sanding, painting, cleaning and gardening

Essential for all candidates:

• A proven record of reliability from your current or previous employer
• A full, current, and clean Class 1 driver’s license (required)
• Full NZ Residency
