Counter Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and ensuring a positive experience. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders or inquiries
• Take customer orders accurately and process transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Prepare and serve food, beverages, or products as per company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
• Restock supplies and ensure all items are properly displayed for customer convenience
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Follow all safety and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus but not required
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or reaching as needed
• A friendly attitude, reliability, and a professional appearance are essential
• Must be at least 16 years old or older depending on local regulations
