Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare simple food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities.
• Manage customer transactions accurately by processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash register operations.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the work area.
• Ensure quick service by managing food service customer order processes promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and retail sales transactions is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy in food preparation and customer service.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations confidently.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; knowledge of sanitation standards is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, operate kitchen equipment safely, and work efficiently under pressure.
