Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare simple food items following safety and sanitation standards, including food handling and bussing duties
• Manage cash handling and cashier responsibilities with precision, ensuring correct transactions and change
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, including food prep surfaces and utensils
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Provide assistance in retail or grocery sections when required, demonstrating versatility across the food industry

Experience

• Prior experience in
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Experience in cashiering, serving, or cashier roles enhances your ability to excel in this position
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
