Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Counter Help to join our vibrant food service team! Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient processing
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including assembling orders and maintaining food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food service operations
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction by suggesting popular or complementary products
• Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene standards and proper sanitation procedures

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service roles within the food industry
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and order accuracy
• Experience operating kitchen equipment and managing food safety protocols is highly desirable
• Prior retail sales or upselling experience can be advantageous in promoting menu items effectively
