Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Toast POS.
• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately, including cash handling, processing sales, upselling products, and managing retail sales transactions.
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Manage customer service inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
• Support food safety management practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong skills in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Basic math skills for cash register operations, processing transactions accurately, and giving correct change.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
• Previous retail or café experience is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
