Job Summary
We are a small, from-scratch bakery dedicated to crafting high-quality products with care. We are seeking reliable and friendly Counter Help team members to assist with daily operations, customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role is essential in ensuring our customers have a positive experience and that our bakery runs smoothly.

Duties

• Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their orders
• Operating cash registers and POS systems for retail sales transactions
• Building boxes and stocking pastry cases to ensure product availability and presentation
• Maintaining a clean workspace, including cleaning counters, equipment, and the overall area
• Assisting with opening tasks and closing duties as needed
• Building boxes for takeout orders and ensuring proper packaging
• Stocking pastry cases and restocking supplies throughout the shift
• Ensuring the workspace remains organized, sanitary, and inviting for customers

Requirements

• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
• Previous experience with POS systems is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and flexibility in scheduling
• Open availability, including weekends, is required to meet the bakery’s needs
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties and maintain a tidy workspace
