Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a timely manner
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring correct change and receipt issuance
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, counters, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction

Skills

• Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Kitchen experience is a plus, along with general food industry knowledge
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
