Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Counter Person/Kitchen Help, where you'll be the friendly face greeting customers and the energetic support behind the scenes ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Duties

• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently.
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, assisting in food prep tasks like chopping, assembling, and packaging.
• Manage food service customer orders with attention to detail, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, processing cash and card payments while processing retail sales transactions smoothly.

Requirements

• Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment safely.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods without compromising quality or service.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales totals accurately.
• Some knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food industry procedures.
• Previous café or restaurant experience will be considered a plus for success in this role.
• This is a tipped position

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 28.0 per week
