Counter Sales Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Counter Sales Assistant . In this customer-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing excellent service whilst managing sales transactions and enquiries.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 5:00pm

Key duties include:

• Serving customers and providing friendly customer service
• Taking and processing customer orders accurately
• Working at the counter and assisting customers
• Receiving, checking and putting away stock
• Maintaining good knowledge of inventory and stock levels
• Using computers and basic computer systems
• Lifting and moving stock as required
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and tidy

About you:

• Good customer service and communication skills
• Good reading and writing skills
• Comfortable using computers
• Good knowledge of stock and inventory
• Physically fit and strong, as lifting and moving stock is involved
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift endorsement is advantageous
