Counter Sales Representative

As part of a store team, our Counter Sales associates ensure customers' needs are met while supporting and executing IMS brand standards. This includes offering product knowledge, stocking, handling transactions and helping maintain a neat and clean environment within the store. When you join the team at Industrial Metal Supply, you will work in a fun, fast-paced, customer-facing environment and help ensure customers enjoy a high level of satisfaction by actively welcoming and engaging them in the store.

• Safety is our number one priority. You will be working in a high-volume retail environment and will be trained in our safety standards to maintain the health and safety of yourself and your teammates
• Use your people skills to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns
• Work with the warehouse team to keep store areas fully stocked and organized.
• Computer experience is a plus, as you will use our point-of-sale software to quote, order and fulfill customer needs
• You’ll be using various measuring tools such as a tape measure, calipers and micrometers when needed. If this is new to you, you will learn a new skill.
• You are bilingual (English/Spanish); a plus.
• Prior metal knowledge is not required; we will teach you!

Starting compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, and internal equity. Not all candidates will be hired at the top of the posted salary range.

Monday - Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays as needed
