Job Summary

Benjamin’s is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Counter Staff member to assist customers, take orders, process payments, and provide excellent service. The ideal candidate should be organized, attentive, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Answer questions about menu items, prices, and available options
• Operate the POS system and process customer payments
• Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately
• Communicate orders and special requests with kitchen staff
• Prepare and package customer orders as required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming counter area
• Restock napkins, packaging, utensils, and other service supplies
• Follow restaurant safety, sanitation, and customer service standards

Requirements

• Previous Counter Staff, Cashier, or restaurant experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, professional, and dependable
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Comfortable handling payments and using POS systems
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
