Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately at the counter or drive-thru.
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Process retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and card payments with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment through regular cleaning routines.
• Manage food handling responsibilities including food preparation, beverage assembly, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness to ensure quality service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, café operations, or retail sales transactions is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments swiftly.
• Basic math skills for giving correct change and managing sales totals.
• Experience with beverage preparation, especially coffee or drink service, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Commitment to food safety practices including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
