Countertop Templator & CNC Router Programmer

Westwood Stone Company is currently looking for a CAD expert interested in joining our team.

This position is responsible for digital templating existing cabinets using a Proliner machine for stone countertop installation. This position requires extensive CAD knowledge and will work both in the field at residential and commercial job-sites as well as in-office. 3+ years of stone countertop installation experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform digital countertop templates at end customer’s location (residential and commercial job-sites) using our digital template machine, Proliner
• Finish CAD drawings using LT3Raptor
• Create detailed shop drawings
• Provide our Saw Operator with production-ready files
• Professionally interact with our end customers through effective communication, timely arrival, neat and efficient work, and using caution and care while onsite.
• Collaborate with our Sales & Production Teams to ensure all necessary data has been gathered for a smooth transition to production, including verify dimensions, hole locations, cutouts, and undermount sink placements.
• Maintain documentation of programming procedures, workflows, and production standards

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of stone countertop installation experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience using Proliner machine and Raptor software
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication layouts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to communicate effectively via email
• Ability to utilize our in-house scheduling system
• Valid Driver's License
