We are a multinational business headquartered in Singapore, with 100 studios in Japan and operations across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia. Our ambition is global: to become the first choice in body transformation, market by market.

Malaysia is one of those markets, and we are hiring the person who will lead it. We currently run two studios in Kuala Lumpur. You will represent luluto in Malaysia, run the business day to day, and build it into a country business the group can grow on.

You will own the Malaysia business end to end — studios, team, clients, marketing and the monthly P&L — reporting to the Group's Director of Global and sitting alongside the leaders of our other markets. It is a small business today, and the job is to make it a big one. Within 12–18 months the role carries full P&L accountability.

This is a hands-on role in a young business. You will decide and execute, do the small things as well as the big ones, and stay with a problem until the result is there. We are committed to delivering meaningful results, and that is how you will be measured.

You will go through luluto's in-house instructor training, developed by Japanese physiotherapists with over 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, and you will be able to teach sessions yourself. No prior Pilates experience is required. Leading this business means understanding the product from the inside.

You will work in English every week with our teams in Singapore and Japan, and with your counterparts in Indonesia and Australia — sharing what works, and taking what works elsewhere. What you build in Malaysia becomes part of how the group operates in every market, and as the brand expands there will be opportunities to grow with it beyond Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Lead daily operations across our Malaysia studios — team, clients, bookings, suppliers and SOP standards.
• Numbers: Own the monthly P&L and the key metrics — trial-to-member conversion, cancellation rate, session volume and costs — and keep working them until they move.
• People: Hire, train and lead instructors and studio staff, and build the management layer as the business grows.
• Instruction: Complete luluto's in-house instructor training so you can teach sessions, cover the schedule, and support your instructors on technique and client flow.
• Growth: Drive local marketing, partnerships and new studio openings, plus the small things in between.
• Group: Represent Malaysia with HQ in Singapore and Japan on pricing, compensation and expansion, and bring back what works in our other markets.

What We Are Looking For (Requirement)

We care more about how you think and how hard you push than about your CV.

• Sharp thinking: you learn fast, break a problem into its parts, and reason with numbers
• Commitment to results: you own the outcome and keep going until the result is there, whatever the task in front of you
• Startup spirit: agile, curious, and customer-focused
• Comfortable working across cultures and time zones with colleagues in Japan, Singapore and the region
• Full-time availability, based in Kuala Lumpur
• No prior Pilates experience required — just a strong desire to learn, and willingness to undergo luluto's post-hire training
• Fluent in English (Malay or Mandarin is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Management experience — running multiple outlets, branches or a P&L (any industry: retail, F&B, clinics, education, logistics, consulting or a startup)
• Experience opening a new outlet
• Background in fitness, wellness or a membership business
