About the Company

VANZBON Global is an international business services platform supporting companies and entrepreneurs with overseas market entry, company incorporation, accounting and tax compliance, legal coordination, business resource integration, and cross-border operational support.

As we continue to expand our global service network, we are looking for a reliable and well-connected Country Representative in Ethiopia to support our international clients and strengthen our local business resources.

About the Role

The Country Representative will act as VANZBON Global’s local representative and business coordinator in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will assist foreign clients with company establishment, local business reception, coordination of accounting and tax-related matters, and the development of a strong local service-provider and business-resource network. This role requires strong local knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect Ethiopia-based professional and commercial resources with VANZBON Global’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China.

Responsibilities

• Company Incorporation & Market Entry Support

• Assist foreign clients with company registration and business setup procedures in Ethiopia.

• Coordinate with relevant government authorities, lawyers, accountants, consultants, banks, and other local service providers.

• Support clients in understanding local incorporation procedures, business licenses, permits, and basic compliance requirements.

• Help collect, prepare, coordinate, and submit necessary documents with local professional partners.

• Client Reception & Local Coordination

• Represent VANZBON Global when receiving foreign clients visiting Ethiopia.

• Assist with business meetings, local introductions, site visits, and communication with local stakeholders.

• Provide practical on-the-ground support to clients during their business establishment and operational processes.

• Coordinate communication between clients, local service providers, and VANZBON Global’s Shenzhen headquarters.

• Accounting & Tax Coordination

• Assist clients in connecting with qualified local accounting and tax service providers.

• Coordinate matters related to bookkeeping, tax registration, tax filing, payroll, social security, and other financial compliance requirements.

• Follow up with local accounting firms and tax consultants regarding client matters.

• Support the Shenzhen headquarters in understanding Ethiopia’s local accounting, tax, and compliance practices.

• Local Resource Development

• Build and maintain a reliable local partner and supplier network, including but not limited to:

• Law firms

• Accounting and audit firms

• Tax advisory firms

• Corporate service providers

• Banks and financial institutions

• Customs clearance companies

• Freight forwarding and logistics companies

• Import/export service providers

• Industrial parks

• Factories and warehouse resources

• Office and commercial property resources

• Supply-chain upstream and downstream companies

• HR and recruitment agencies

• Government and investment promotion resources

• Business associations and chambers of commerce

• Other professional and commercial service providers

• Resource Connection with Shenzhen Headquarters

• Introduce high-quality Ethiopia-based professional and commercial resources to VANZBON Global’s Shenzhen headquarters.

• Help evaluate the capabilities, service scope, pricing, responsiveness, and reliability of potential local partners.

• Coordinate cooperation discussions between VANZBON Global and local service providers.

• Maintain and continuously expand VANZBON Global’s local service network in Ethiopia.

• Business Development Support

• Identify potential foreign-investment opportunities and local market-entry needs.

• Provide basic market intelligence and updates on the Ethiopian business environment.

• Support VANZBON Global in identifying potential clients, partners, and cooperation opportunities.

• Assist with local business development activities when required.

Qualifications

• Currently based in Ethiopia and familiar with the local business environment.
• Strong understanding of company registration, business operations, professional services, or foreign investment in Ethiopia.
• Good local network or ability to develop relationships with lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, logistics companies, industrial parks, factories, and other business service providers.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to independently follow up on client requests and local projects.
• Professional, reliable, responsive, and service-oriented.
• Comfortable working with an international team and reporting to the Shenzhen headquarters.
• Good command of English is required.
• Chinese language ability is an advantage but not required.
