To strengthen our local service capabilities in the Philippines, we are looking for a reliable and resourceful Country Representative – Philippines to support client project delivery, coordinate with local authorities and professional service providers, and connect high-quality local resources with VANZBON headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Project Delivery

• Assist VANZBON headquarters in delivering client projects in the Philippines, including company incorporation, business registration, document preparation, submission and follow-up .
• Support the collection, preparation and verification of documents required for local registrations, licenses and compliance matters.
• Follow up with relevant authorities and professional service providers to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Provide timely updates to headquarters regarding project progress, outstanding requirements, expected timelines and potential risks.
• Assist with other local operational matters required during client project delivery.

2. Government & Authority Liaison

• Communicate and coordinate with relevant Philippine government departments and local authorities on behalf of VANZBON when required.
• Assist with matters involving agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), local government units (LGUs) and other relevant authorities.
• Verify local registration procedures, documentation requirements, government fees, processing timelines and practical requirements.
• Help headquarters understand local regulatory procedures and actual implementation practices.
• Support document submission, follow-up and collection when physical local presence is required.

3. Accounting & Tax Delivery Support

• Coordinate with local accountants, tax professionals and accounting firms to support client accounting and tax-related projects.
• Assist headquarters with tax registration, bookkeeping coordination, statutory filings, tax compliance and other finance-related delivery matters .
• Help collect and organize financial or corporate documents required by local accounting and tax professionals.
• Follow up on project progress and ensure information is communicated clearly between headquarters and local service providers.
• Assist in verifying local accounting, tax and compliance requirements when necessary.

4. Local Business Resource Development

Identify, develop and maintain reliable local resources in the Philippines, including:

• Law firms and lawyers
• Accounting and tax firms
• Corporate service providers
• Customs brokers and customs clearance companies
• Logistics and freight forwarding companies
• Supply chain service providers
• Factory and industrial property resources
• Office and commercial property resources
• Banks and financial service providers
• HR, recruitment and payroll providers
• Licensing and regulatory consultants
• Other professional service providers required by VANZBON clients

Introduce suitable local partners and resources to VANZBON headquarters and assist with initial communication, quotation collection and cooperation coordination.

5. Supplier & Partner Evaluation

• Conduct preliminary screening and due diligence on potential local service providers.
• Evaluate partners based on their professional capability, experience, pricing, responsiveness, service quality and reliability .
• Obtain and compare quotations from different local service providers.
• Support headquarters in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with reliable local partners.
• Help resolve communication or delivery issues with local suppliers when required.

6. Local Market & Business Support

• Conduct local research on corporate registration, taxation, licensing, employment, customs, office leasing, factory sourcing and other business matters.
• Verify local business information and provide practical feedback based on actual local conditions.
• Assist headquarters in understanding local market practices and service costs.
• Support local business visits, meetings or project coordination when required.
• Represent VANZBON professionally in communications with local authorities, clients and business partners.

Requirements

• Currently based in the Philippines and familiar with the local business environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Corporate Management, International Business or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Company incorporation and corporate services
• Accounting and taxation
• Legal or compliance services
• Government liaison
• Business consulting
• Corporate administration
• Client project delivery
• Familiarity with Philippine company registration and corporate compliance procedures.
• Experience dealing with SEC, BIR, LGUs or other Philippine government agencies is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English , both written and spoken.
• Mandarin Chinese is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong local networking and resource development capabilities.
• Responsible, responsive and able to handle tasks independently.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working with corporate and government documents.
• Able to support both online coordination and local offline tasks when required.

Preferred Background

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

• Have worked for a law firm, accounting firm, corporate services firm, consulting company or government-related organization .
• Have hands-on experience with company incorporation, licensing, tax registration or compliance projects.
• Have existing connections with lawyers, accountants, customs brokers, logistics companies, property agencies, banks or other professional service providers.
• Are familiar with local government processes and know how to efficiently follow up on applications.
• Have strong local market knowledge and the ability to quickly identify suitable service providers.
• Are comfortable working independently with an international headquarters team.

The Country Representative will work closely with VANZBON headquarters and may be assigned local projects based on client needs. Project-related responsibilities, workload and cooperation arrangements may vary depending on actual business requirements.
