About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a reliable and professional Courier to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a crucial position within our Couriers, Drivers & Postal Services division, where you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that parcels and documents reach their destinations safely and on time. Based in Katipunan, Quezon City, Metro Manila, this role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the courier and logistics industry. As a Courier, you will be the face of ABest Express Inc. to our customers, playing a vital role in delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships with clients across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Collect parcels and documents from designated pick-up points and customers' premises in a timely and professional manner
• Transport packages safely and securely to their intended destinations using company vehicles
• Deliver items to customers whilst maintaining accurate records of all transactions and obtaining signatures where required
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-maintained delivery vehicle, including regular safety checks and fuel management
• Sort and organise parcels and documents according to delivery routes to ensure efficient distribution
• Handle cash and payment transactions accurately, maintaining financial records and reconciling daily collections
• Provide outstanding customer service, answering enquiries about deliveries and resolving any issues professionally and courteously
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety protocols to ensure safe driving practices at all times
• Utilise tracking systems and technology to monitor package status and provide customers with real-time delivery updates
• Report any damaged or missing items promptly and follow company procedures for incident documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive parcels with appropriate care and discretion

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle class being operated, with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver or in a similar logistics role
• Excellent knowledge of the Metro Manila area, including local roads, traffic patterns and efficient route navigation
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously with clients
• Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry and handle parcels of varying weights safely
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting delivery deadlines
• Attention to detail in handling documentation, recording transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Honesty and integrity, particularly when handling cash and valuable items
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions whilst also being a team player
• Proficiency in using basic technology, including mobile devices and tracking systems
• Familiarity with courier industry best practices and safety standards is preferred
