Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver packages across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe lifting practices during all driving and handling activities.
• Ensure accurate delivery documentation and maintain detailed logs of routes, deliveries, and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams via mobile devices to confirm delivery statuses or report issues.
• Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving goods within the facility using manual handling equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring deliveries are made promptly and professionally, addressing any questions or concerns courteously.

Experience

• Previous delivery driver experience or courier roles preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus.
• Warehouse experience including material handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices.
• Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license; proficiency in operating box trucks or vans with manual transmission is advantageous.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including the use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Ability to adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and workplace safety standards related to weight handling and vehicle operation.
• Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes.

Pay: $24.44 - $29.43 per hour
