Courier Contracting Manager

Velora Delivery Services – UAE

Velora Delivery Services is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Courier Contracting Manager to develop new business, secure courier and last-mile delivery contracts, negotiate commercial agreements, and build long-term relationships with corporate and e-commerce clients across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients requiring courier, last-mile, e-commerce, B2B, same-day, and scheduled delivery services.
• Develop business opportunities with e-commerce companies, online retailers, marketplaces, restaurants, pharmacies, retailers, distributors, SMEs, and corporate clients.
• Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential delivery contracts.
• Arrange meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
• Understand each client's delivery volumes, locations, service levels, COD requirements, returns, and operational needs.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and customized delivery solutions.
• Negotiate delivery rates, minimum volumes, payment terms, SLAs, penalties, and other commercial conditions.
• Review contracts and coordinate with management before final approval and signing.
• Participate in RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and vendor-registration processes.
• Manage client onboarding in coordination with Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and IT.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing contracted clients and identify opportunities to increase their delivery volumes.
• Monitor contract performance, profitability, pricing, and renewal dates.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure contracted service levels can be achieved.
• Work with Finance to monitor client credit terms, invoicing, and outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, contracts, negotiations, and client communications.
• Monitor competitors, market pricing, and developments in the UAE courier and last-mile delivery sector.
• Provide management with weekly and monthly reports covering the sales pipeline, signed contracts, expected volumes, revenue, and upcoming opportunities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in courier, last-mile delivery, logistics, e-commerce, transportation, or related B2B contracting.
• Proven ability to secure corporate delivery contracts.
• Existing network within the UAE e-commerce, retail, logistics, or corporate market is a strong advantage.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
• Experience preparing quotations, tenders, proposals, and service agreements.
• Good understanding of courier pricing, delivery costs, COD, returns, SLAs, and last-mile operations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve monthly contracting targets.
• Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.

Preferred Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates who already have strong UAE market connections and a proven track record of bringing courier or last-mile delivery contracts and delivery volumes to their employer.

The successful candidate should be commercially aggressive, well-connected, professional, and capable of developing Velora's client portfolio across all seven Emirates.
