About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Courier Rider to join our dynamic team in Fairview, Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels and documents to our valued customers across the metropolitan area. As a Courier Rider, you will be the face of our company, representing ABest Express Inc. through professional service and dependable performance. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the couriers, drivers and postal services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver parcels, packages and documents to designated recipients within assigned routes and schedules
• Operate assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and route activities using company systems or logbooks
• Ensure packages are handled with care to prevent damage during transport and delivery
• Obtain signatures and proof of delivery from recipients as required
• Communicate professionally with customers and resolve any delivery-related queries or concerns
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or damage to management
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly delivery targets and performance metrics
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of vehicle interior and cargo area
• Report any incidents, accidents or safety concerns immediately to supervisors

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated
• Proven experience as a courier rider or in a similar delivery role within the logistics or postal services industry
• Strong knowledge of Metro Manila roads, routes and traffic patterns
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance
• Physical fitness and ability to carry parcels of varying weights
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions whilst on route
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile applications is advantageous
• Willingness to undergo safety training and comply with company protocols
