Courier Service Associate

Job Summary

Davis Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Courier Service Associate to support daily delivery operations. The ideal candidate will handle packages and documents carefully, complete deliveries efficiently, communicate professionally with customers, and help ensure accurate and timely service.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other assigned items.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently.
• Verify delivery information and ensure items are handled securely.
• Load, organize, and transport packages safely.
• Obtain delivery confirmations or signatures when required.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries.
• Report delays, delivery issues, or address concerns to the appropriate team.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and service documentation.
• Follow company procedures for package handling and customer service.
• Keep delivery equipment and assigned work areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and team members throughout the delivery process.
• Perform other courier and delivery support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous courier, delivery, logistics, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver's license may be required for driving assignments.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to follow routes, schedules, and delivery instructions.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely handle and transport packages.
• Basic smartphone or mobile-device skills.
• Willingness to work in different weather and traffic conditions as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
