ZLA Logistics LTD is a fast-growing logistics company providing professional delivery services throughout the North East. We are looking for reliable, motivated Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our expanding team.

The Role

As a Self employed Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing a daily delivery route across Newton Aycliffe, Darlington Teesside and surrounding areas. You’ll load your vehicle, deliver parcels safely and efficiently, and provide a professional service to customers throughout the day. The depot is located in Newton Aycliffe.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily multi-drop delivery routes.
• Load and organise parcels efficiently.
• Deliver parcels safely and on time.
• Use a handheld device to scan and confirm deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain excellent customer service.
• Follow all road safety and company procedures.
• Keep your allocated vehicle clean and presentable.

Requirements

Essential

• Full UK driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, CD or IN convictions).
• Good knowledge of Newcastle, Gateshead and surrounding areas.
• Physically fit, as the role involves regular lifting and walking.
• Excellent time management.
• Professional and reliable attitude.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience (Amazon, DPD, DHL, Evri, Yodel, Royal Mail or similar).
• Experience using handheld delivery scanners.
• Experience driving long wheelbase vans.
