Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas regularly to uphold physical security standards and prevent unauthorized access or activities.
• Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security technology to detect suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, fire safety protocols, and emergency evacuation plans.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on visitors or personnel as required to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively while maintaining professionalism during tense situations.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control procedures, and physical security practices.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable for understanding security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety to provide immediate assistance when needed.
• Skilled in manual handling techniques including heavy lifting to assist with equipment or incident management.
• Proficient in incident report writing with attention to detail for legal and operational purposes.
• Ability to perform background checks accurately while adhering to privacy regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle diverse situations professionally.
