CPA or Controller Level Accounting Person

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore for a CPA or Controller-level accounting professional. The person in this role will oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing general ledger activities, supervising accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes. The role also involves tax planning and preparation, collaborating with external auditors, and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets. The accounting professional will partner with leadership to provide financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to strategic decision-making for TransData’s global operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including general ledger management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Expertise in Financial Statements, including preparation, consolidation, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification, with solid knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Tax Preparation, including corporate tax filings, planning, and coordination with advisors.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Proven experience in a controller-level or senior accounting role, ideally in a technology or services organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with international financial practices and multi-entity or global operations is an advantage.
