CPA/ QUICKBOOKS CONSULTANT

Must have strong and actual hands-on experience in QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.
Must have experience in QuickBooks setup, cleanup, restructuring, and correction of accounting records.
Must be capable of reviewing an existing QuickBooks file and identifying:
Incorrect entries
Duplicate transactions
Unsupported transactions
Incorrect account classifications
Unreconciled balances
Incomplete records
Incorrect carry-over balances
Accounts Receivable discrepancies
Accounts Payable discrepancies
Inventory discrepancies
Must have experience in reviewing and validating historical accounting records before transferring or establishing balances in a new QuickBooks file.
Must be capable of determining the correct opening balances for:
Cash and Bank Accounts
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Inventory
Fixed Assets
Advances
Liabilities
Equity
Other relevant accounts
Must understand the proper treatment of historical transactions, including when transactions should be:
Re-entered
Adjusted
Reconciled
Carried forward
Corrected
Excluded until properly verified
Must have strong knowledge of proper QuickBooks recording for:
Sales
Billing
Collections
Purchases
Supplier Payments
Expenses
Cash Advances
Liquidations
Bank Transactions
Inventory Receiving
Inventory Releases
Returns
Adjustments
Fixed Assets
Journal Entries
Must have strong experience in bank reconciliation, Accounts Receivable reconciliation, Accounts Payable reconciliation, and inventory reconciliation.
Must be capable of reviewing and improving the Chart of Accounts based on the actual business operations.
Must understand proper QuickBooks user access, controls, and segregation of duties.
Must be capable of establishing proper month-end procedures within QuickBooks.
Must be able to generate, review, and validate QuickBooks reports, including:
Balance Sheet
Profit & Loss
Accounts Receivable Aging
Accounts Payable Aging
Inventory Reports
Bank and Cash Reports
Must be capable of correcting accounting errors without compromising the integrity of historical records.
Must be able to document proper QuickBooks procedures and provide clear guidance to the Finance & Accounting team.
Must be capable of training and coaching internal personnel on the correct use of QuickBooks.
Strong analytical, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be organized, systematic, and capable of handling large volumes of accounting records.
Must maintain strict confidentiality over financial records and system access.
Preferred Experience
Experience handling distribution, trading, inventory-heavy, medical supplies, or similar businesses.
Experience in establishing a new and clean QuickBooks file from problematic historical records.
Experience in accounting system transition, data validation, opening balance establishment, and QuickBooks implementation.
Experience working directly with Finance, Billing, Procurement, Warehouse, and Inventory functions is an advantage.
Key Requirement
The candidate must have actual hands-on experience in correcting and restructuring QuickBooks records.
A CPA license alone is not sufficient. The candidate must be able to:
Review the existing records → identify the issues → validate historical balances → establish the correct opening balances → structure the new QuickBooks file → establish the proper recording process → train the team to maintain the system correctly.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
