Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured, and interactive classroom sessions covering CPL ground subjects.
• Prepare well-structured lesson plans and deliver sessions using appropriate training materials, instructional techniques, and modern teaching methodologies.
• Guide and mentor students throughout their CPL ground training journey, helping them build strong conceptual and practical understanding.
• Prepare students for CPL examinations through revision sessions, assessments, mock examinations, practice sessions, and individual academic guidance.
• Regularly monitor student progress, evaluate learning outcomes, and provide meaningful and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of academic progress, assessments, and training activities.
• Ensure all instructional activities are conducted in accordance with applicable aviation authority requirements, training standards, and institutional guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with fellow instructors and the academic team to continuously improve curriculum delivery, student engagement, and overall training effectiveness.
• Create a positive, professional, disciplined, and student-friendly learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, academic achievement, and a strong safety mindset.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an aviation professional who combines technical knowledge with a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• CPL or higher pilot qualification, with valid and current licences, ratings, and certifications as applicable to the position and relevant aviation authority requirements.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of CPL ground subjects, including Air Regulations, Air Navigation, Meteorology, Human Factors, Aircraft General Knowledge, and Aircraft Performance.
• Previous experience in ground instruction, flight training, aviation education, or CPL theory training will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make complex aviation concepts simple, clear, and engaging.
• Strong presentation, classroom management, mentoring, and student engagement skills.
• Ability to assess student performance, identify learning gaps, and provide effective academic support and guidance.
• Well-organized, responsible, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage training schedules, assessments, student records, and related documentation.
• Comfortable using digital learning platforms, presentation tools, and technology-enabled training resources.
• A strong commitment to aviation safety, professional ethics, academic integrity, and high-quality training standards.
• A degree or relevant academic qualification in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, or a related field will be an added advantage.
